Yellowstone/Jackson Hole Trip with the Lotts!

Over the weekend of June 19th, Jason and I were thrilled to be invited by his parents to take a fun little trip to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole! After a long drive from Fort Collins to Jackson Hole, we met up with Marion & Kaye, dropped our lil Mazda off at the hotel we would be staying at Saturday night, and headed off to Yellowstone to stay in Old Faithful for the night. We got there pretty late, but were really looking forward to driving through Yellowstone the next day.
So, we got up, got all ready to go, and decided to go through the Old Faithful Lodge to shop and maybe see Old Faithful. After we spent a bit of time there, we decided we would really like to get going through the park. Well... this is where the day started to become a little rough. When we got to their car, it wouldn't start. So, after the guys tried to fiddle here and there, they decided to see if the auto shop could help us in any way. So, the guys went to the auto repair shop, and Kaye & I went to watch Old Faithful! After a while, they still couldn't figure out quite what was wrong, so we were towed from the Lodge all the way to the end of the park. So unfortunately, we didn't get to see any of the park. Quite a bummer :(
We had to take two separate tow trucks; one through the park, and another back to Jackson Hole. Kaye & I had quite the experience though...it may not have been legal...When the second truck arrived, we noticed it didn't have enough room for all of us. Well, the, might I say "manly" tow truck driver suggested we ride in the car on the TOW!! And we did it!! Check us out in the tow truck below! Probably wasn't very safe, and it was scary going through bad weather and traffic, but it did save us some driving time :) AND, on our way back we did see a Moose cross the road!!
So, although our trip was very...interesting, we had a pretty good time!! Thanks Kaye & Marion for a fun and unforgettable weekend!! Love you!

Below are some fun pics taken while at the Old Faithful Lodge in Yellowstone...before we found out about our car trouble.

OLD FAITHFUL!!

Jason's Last Week

During the summer, Jason has been the cutest lil boat inspector at the Horsetooth Reservoir here in Fort Collins. Due to this being the last week of his employment before school starts back up, I thought I would be the incredibly loving wife that I am and post some pics of Jason is his spify and sultry uniform. CUTE! He he!!

Trip Home!

Hello Family & Friends,

We made it home safe! I just wanted to get on and thank everyone for such a wonderful time this past weekend. We are so lucky we can come home so often, I think I would go crazy without my little "doses" of home. We love you all so much, and can't thank you enough for all of your support and love. I will get on in a couple of days and post some of the cute pics we took while we were there for the 4th of July. Miss you all already!

Love ya, Brit

Colorado Rockies!

For my Anniversary present to Jason, I decided to take him to a Colorado Rockies baseball game!! We had awesome seats, and had an unforgettable time together! It was SO SO fun! We are definitely going again. Man, am I a good wife, or what!! He, he!

Back to Colorado

It is always SO hard for me to leave my family and go back to Colorado. I guess this time they didn't want me to leave either! :)

Memorial Day!

We were very lucky to come home for a few days over Memorial Day! We got to say hello to our dear brother Dallan, and give him some goregous flowers. Look how beautiful my family is. I am the luckiest person in the world!! I love and miss you all so much!! Muah!

Nana's Apt & New Additions!!

While we were home over Memorial Day weekend, I got a chance to see Brianna & Levi's cute new apartment! Also, I met the new additions to the family!! They brought home 2 new kittens: Monkey and Melvin. They are so adorable!!

Lions, Tigers, & Bears! Oh my!

We went to the ZOO!! For our 3 year anniversary, we decided it would be a blast to go to the Denver Zoo. It was SO fun! We really felt like 5 year olds walking through it. Every animal we saw were just so beautiful. Sorry Utah, but the Denver Zoo is bigger and better! There are a ton of animals! My favorite were the Cheetahs - I totally wanted to take them home! Jason's were the bears and the monkeys. He made some new monkey friends! They were so funny; they would stick their hands through the gate and grab his hand thinking he was going to feed them. See all of the cute pics below!

BEARS!

Hey Everyone!! Okay, so I have to admit, I am not very good at keeping this up-to-date! We have been so busy the past couple months, and have SO many new pics. (Yeah, I know! I am pretty proud to say we have actually taken pictures!) There are so many that I hope I can post them all without a total overload!

First, I really need to post some of the awesome pics Jason took while they were hunting this past spring. Unfortunately, they didn't take one home (they sure know how to hide!), but the dogs tree'd one!! I must say, they are pretty impressive!! Check 'em out below :)
